Casino Gaming Floor
Forty-plus live tables, six hundred slots and a poker room that runs nightly — dealt in person, around the clock, on one brick-and-mortar floor in Newtown. Guests 18+ with valid ID. The chips are heavy because the game is real.
What the floor runs
No screens between you and the dealer
Every game at Calderaine is dealt by a person you can look in the eye. Cards are shuffled where you can see it, wheels are spun where you're standing, and the cashier knows your name by your third visit.
I've played floors from Vegas to Macau. The dealers here remember not just your name — how you like your blackjack dealt.
Four rooms, one heartbeat
The gaming floor is really four rooms in a row — each with its own crowd, tempo and house rules.
Twenty-two tables under one chandelier
Blackjack, roulette and baccarat in the main pit, limits from $2 to $5,000. Complimentary drinks while you play, served by people who remember the order.
Poker room
Eight tables, nightly no-limit hold'em at 19:00 and 23:00, Sunday deep-stack series. Rack up your seat at the desk.
Slot hall
Six hundred machines from penny reels to $25 high-limit cabinets, with three linked jackpots that crossed $100K last year.
The cage
Cash, debit and card, 24/7. Cashed chips, tax slips and a safe-deposit box for the night.
Floor bar
The centre bar pours until close — local drafts, classic cocktails and the house Old Fashioned, famous two blocks in every direction.
Self-exclusion programmes, limit-setting and trained staff — ask any pit boss, no questions asked.
Dissecting the game
Tap a hotspot or pick a component — the spec card explains how each part of the floor works.
The Tables
Live felt, $2–5,000 limits
Every table runs live felt with a human dealer and a real shoe or wheel. Limits are posted on brass stands, minimums drop after 2 a.m., and the pit boss will teach you the table's etiquette before your first hand.
Three steps to your first hand
Never played? That's a third of our floor on any given night. The pipeline below is all it takes — see the full directory for the other seven services.
Door to table — under 10 minBring your ID
Guests 18+ with valid government photo ID walk straight onto the floor. The desk can arrange a host for first-timers by phone beforehand.

Get your chips at the cage
Buy in at the cage or at any table — cash, debit or card. The cashier explains every slip, and table minimums are posted in brass, not fine print.

Take a seat, or a lesson
Sit at any open seat — or ask a dealer for the free five-minute lesson when the pit is quiet. The house rules are posted at every table.

Three ways to the felt
Credits load on your player card at the cage — in person, with ID. Winnings are always yours; the credit itself is play money.
Arrange a host for your night
A floor host meets you at the door, walks you to the right table for your budget and stays a phone call away all night.
The shoe is cut.
The wheel is warm.
Reserve a host, a table or a package — leave your date and the floor team will call back within two hours.
