These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Calderaine Hotel & Casino website and your visit to our brick-and-mortar venue in Newtown. By entering our premises or submitting a contact form, you agree to these terms.

100% offline, in-person, face-to-face
Calderaine Hotel & Casino is a physical venue only. All gaming, accommodation, dining, events and spa services take place in person at 7626 144 Ave NW, Newtown, AB. This website does not offer online gambling, online reservations with payment, or any digital service that can replace a visit to our location.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or enter our premises.
Who can use the site and enter the venue
Use of this website is open to all ages. Entry to the gaming floor and any gaming-related event is restricted to persons 18 years or older with valid, government-issued photo identification.
Website use. By browsing this site, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
Age requirement. Guests must be 18 years or older to enter the casino, private gaming salon or any area where gambling takes place. The hotel, restaurant and spa welcome guests of all ages under supervision.
Identification. Valid government-issued photo ID is required at entry to the gaming floor and for all alcohol purchases. IDs must be original, legible and not expired.
Prohibited persons. Individuals on self-exclusion lists, banned-person registries or court orders may not enter the gaming floor. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone.
How reservations work
All bookings are confirmed directly with the Calderaine front desk or events team. We do not take full payment through this website. Rates are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes and service fees.
Play by the house rules
Gaming at Calderaine is regulated by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC). All table games, slots and poker are conducted in person by licensed staff. House rules are posted at each gaming area and are binding once you place a wager.
Only physical participation. No remote, online or proxy play is permitted. The person placing the wager must be physically present at the table or machine and must be the holder of the valid ID and player card.
Legal tender and chips. Gaming is conducted in Canadian dollars. Chips and tokens have no value outside the casino floor. Chips must be cashed at the cage before leaving the gaming area.
Game management. Dealer and pit-boss decisions are final. Disputes are recorded and escalated to the AGLC when required. Camera footage may be reviewed.
Responsible gaming. Self-exclusion, cooling-off periods and limit-setting are available at the cage or from any pit boss. We do not permit visibly intoxicated guests to gamble.
Cheating and disorder. Any form of cheating, collusion, theft or abusive behaviour will result in immediate removal, confiscation of winnings and reporting to law enforcement.
Be safe, be fair, be present
Calderaine is a licensed hospitality venue. We expect guests to treat staff and other guests with respect. The following rules exist to keep the venue safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Photography
Photography on the gaming floor is permitted only with management consent. Recording of gameplay, dealers or other guests without consent is prohibited.
Outside food & drink
Outside alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the premises. Outside food is not permitted in the restaurant, spa or gaming areas without prior approval.
Weapons & illegal items
Weapons, illegal drugs and any item prohibited by law are not permitted. Security may inspect bags and refuse entry.
Harassment
Harassment, discrimination or abuse of staff or guests will result in removal and a ban. We do not tolerate behaviour that interferes with the comfort or safety of others.
Our responsibility, and yours
We take reasonable care to provide a safe and lawful venue. These terms limit our liability where permitted by Canadian law and require guests to accept responsibility for their own actions.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Australia applicable therein. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Newtown, Alberta. We may revise these terms at any time; the updated date will be posted at the top of this page.
By entering Calderaine or using this website, you acknowledge that this is a 100% OFFLINE, IN-PERSON experience and that all activities take place face-to-face at our brick-and-mortar venue.
