These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Calderaine Hotel & Casino website and your visit to our brick-and-mortar venue in Newtown. By entering our premises or submitting a contact form, you agree to these terms.

Important Notice

100% offline, in-person, face-to-face

Calderaine Hotel & Casino is a physical venue only. All gaming, accommodation, dining, events and spa services take place in person at 7626 144 Ave NW, Newtown, AB. This website does not offer online gambling, online reservations with payment, or any digital service that can replace a visit to our location.

Disclaimer. Remember: This is a 100% OFFLINE, IN-PERSON experience. You must physically visit our Calderaine venue to participate. All activities take place face-to-face at our brick-and-mortar location.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or enter our premises.

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

Who can use the site and enter the venue

Use of this website is open to all ages. Entry to the gaming floor and any gaming-related event is restricted to persons 18 years or older with valid, government-issued photo identification.

2. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations

How reservations work

All bookings are confirmed directly with the Calderaine front desk or events team. We do not take full payment through this website. Rates are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes and service fees.

Check-in is 15:00; checkout is 11:00. A credit card is required to hold a reservation. Cancellations made more than 72 hours before arrival are fully refundable. Cancellations within 72 hours may be charged one night's room rate plus tax. No-shows are charged the full stay.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date. Cancellations more than 30 days before the event receive a 50% refund of the deposit; cancellations within 30 days forfeit the deposit. Final minimum spend, headcount and menu are confirmed 14 days before the event.

Restaurant bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the reservation. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged a fee of $25 per person for the chef's counter and private dining.

Spa appointments can be cancelled free of charge up to 12 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations within 12 hours may be charged 50% of the treatment price.
3. Gaming Rules

Gaming at Calderaine is regulated by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC). All table games, slots and poker are conducted in person by licensed staff. House rules are posted at each gaming area and are binding once you place a wager.

4. Conduct & Prohibited Activities

Calderaine is a licensed hospitality venue. We expect guests to treat staff and other guests with respect. The following rules exist to keep the venue safe and enjoyable for everyone.

5. Liability & Indemnity

Our responsibility, and yours

We take reasonable care to provide a safe and lawful venue. These terms limit our liability where permitted by Canadian law and require guests to accept responsibility for their own actions.

Calderaine is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property except for items deposited with the front desk or held in safe-deposit boxes for which a receipt is issued. Vehicles parked in our lot are at the owner's risk; we provide monitored but not guaranteed security.

All gaming is offered as entertainment. Calderaine does not guarantee winnings. Play-credit packages are non-transferable and non-convertible to cash except as required by regulation. Wagers are made at the player's own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calderaine's total liability to any guest or website visitor arising out of or relating to these terms, the use of the venue or the website shall not exceed the amount paid by that guest for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Calderaine, its owners, employees and agents from any claim, damage or expense arising from your violation of these terms, your misconduct at the venue, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
6. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Australia applicable therein. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Newtown, Alberta. We may revise these terms at any time; the updated date will be posted at the top of this page.

By entering Calderaine or using this website, you acknowledge that this is a 100% OFFLINE, IN-PERSON experience and that all activities take place face-to-face at our brick-and-mortar venue.
